Windows was juried into Quilt Canada 2021.

This quilt is titled Windows and was made for my National, Quilt Canada Presentation in 2021, called Hover-quilting: A Fresh New Look at Raw-Edge Appliqué.

Windows was juried into Quilt Canada 2021!

I had a lot of fun making and documenting Windows for this presentation and to share on my social media.

Window gets its stunning colours from the Cherrywood Hand Dyed Fabrics I selected for this quilt and measures 52 inches wide and 70 inches tall.

The concept for Windows was to create a design that allowed the background fabric to take on a primary role in the overall aesthetic.

Using the “L” shape combined with the Hover-quilting technique created the opportunity to allow this quilt to come alive with the background fabric moving to the forefront!
