QuiltCon 2023, was a great year for me, I had the honour of having 3 quilts juried into the show, including Colour Bar, Cube Squared and Spool Dash.
I was beyond thrilled when Spool Dash won a Judges Choice Award! I would like to say a special thank you to quilt judge, Nancy Fuka for her consideration.
Spool Dash measures 63 inches wide and 77 inches tall and was made after Benartex Fabric reached out and asked me to redesigned the traditional spool block and made it modern for Benartex’s e-magazine, Modern by the Yard.
Colour Bar measures 72 inches wide and 82 inches tall and contains over 400 different colours of fabric!
Cube Squared measures 66 inches square! The concept for this quilt was to make a giant sized replica of the small squares that are the foundation of this design.
