Love Cloud was made at a very special time preceding my First Year Anniversary with Carlos.
I partnered for the 4th time with Curated Quilts Journal and my quilt titled Love Cloud has been published in the 24th issue, in The Linear Gallery.
One of my favourite parts of making a quilt has nothing to do with quilting and everything to do with honouring the person it is made for.
Making Love Cloud aloud me time to reflect and celebrate the good times we shared, along with doing my best to understand the challenging times and pause for a moment to feel.
The pieced background represents the good times and not so good times we shared over the past year and the linear lines floating in the forefront represents our emotional connection.
Including red hot and soothing lighter tones connected at times by a single thread and at other times linked together by the all encompassing strength of love.
