BTW, I’m a published, National & International award-winning modern quilter, designer and teacher. I love quilting and I love teaching others to quilt. My goal is innovation, my passion is creativity and my gift is having opportunities to share new techniques within the quilting community.
I bring over a decade of quilting experience to the classroom and value creating a supportive atmosphere. I have taught basic, intermediate and advanced levels. My students would describe me as knowledgeable, well organized, positive and caring, but most of all an incredibly patient teacher.

Have you ever looked at these wonky/contemporary style quilts and wondered how they are made? I did to until I designed Puzzle and would love to share this fun technique with you.
Here’s a look at the 72 inch square Puzzle quilt that inspired the workshop.
I host and teach The Puzzle Workshop live on zoom with a class size of only 10 students. If you would like to attend this virtual workshops on Zoom, Registration is now Open!
The fee to participate in this live on zoom, 2-day workshop is $100, all in.

For Quilt Guilds that are interested in this workshop, I’m offering the Puzzle Workshops in-person or live on zoom. The fee to participate in this live, 2-day event is $800 for up to 15 students and $900 for up to 20 students. Class size is limited to 20 participants.
My Zoom Workshops are an engaging 2-day event, with each day starting at 10:30am and finishing at 3:45pm Eastern Standard Time.
The Puzzle Workshop is a technique based workshop that covers:
-improv puzzle piecing
-fusible appliqué
-spray basting
-walking foot quilting
-hanging triangles
Class Description: students will learn a new approach to improv puzzle piecing and create a fabulously and fun, wonky looking contemporary/modern mini quilt.
On day one, students will explore value, learn how to improv puzzle piece and build their quilt top.
On day two, students will apply their appliqué, learn straight line quilting with the walking foot and finish with glue basting your hanging triangles. This workshop provides a great space for exploring freedom of choice while creating a one-of-a-kind 20 inch square, contemporary/modern Puzzle Quilt.
To enhance your workshop experience, affordable custom kits made with top quality fabric are available for only $45 dollars plus shipping.
For guilds, as a cost saving measure, when placing a bulk order of 10 or more kits, the shipping fee works out to be less than $5 per kit.
